Refund Policy

Last updated: 22 April 2026  ·  My Spanish Student Visa / Retail Consulting UK Ltd

All payments made to My Spanish Student Visa are final and non-refundable once charged. This policy explains how our staged payment structure works and what happens if your application is refused. If you have questions before you pay, please contact us — we’re happy to give you a straight answer before you commit.

Before you pay: If you are unsure whether you qualify for the Spain student visa, email us at hola@myspanishvisa.com before opening your case. We provide an honest eligibility assessment at no cost.

1. All Sales Are Final

By proceeding with any payment to My Spanish Student Visa, you acknowledge and agree that all fees are non-refundable once charged. This applies to every payment stage, regardless of the outcome of your application or any decision to withdraw from the service after payment.

We structure our fees so that the largest payment only arises on approval. No refund right exists for amounts already charged.

2. Our Staged Payment Model

We structure our fees across two stages so that the final and largest payment only arises once your application is approved. You are never charged the final stage if your application is refused.

New Application — 2 Stages

StageAmountWhen chargedRefundable?
Stage 1 — To get started€300When you open your caseNon-refundable
Stage 2 — On approval€499Only once your student visa is approvedNever charged if refused

Renewal — 2 Stages

StageAmountWhen chargedRefundable?
Stage 1 — To get started€150When you open your renewal caseNon-refundable
Stage 2 — On approval€199Only once your renewal is approvedNever charged if refused

3. What Happens if My Application Is Refused?

If the Spanish consulate refuses your application, the Stage 2 payment (€499 for new applications, €199 for renewals) is never charged — these amounts simply do not arise.

Stage 1 payments already made are non-refundable. These fees reflect the substantial professional work already carried out on your case, including eligibility assessment, document review, translation coordination, and application preparation.

Following a refusal, our case team will review the decision and advise you on available options — including reapplication or appeal — at no additional charge for the initial review.

Refusals caused by inaccurate, fraudulent, or incomplete information provided by the client do not affect our right to retain all fees already paid.

4. Abandonment and Withdrawal

If you choose to withdraw from the service at any point after a stage payment has been made, that payment is non-refundable. If you fail to respond to our team’s communications, fail to provide required documents, or otherwise cause your case to stall or lapse, the fees already charged remain payable and are not returned.

5. Government Fees (Consulate Fees)

Spanish consulate visa fees (approximately €80 for most nationalities) are paid directly by the client at the consulate appointment and are not included in our service fee. These government fees are set by Spanish authorities and are not refundable by us under any circumstances.

6. Third-Party Costs

Costs incurred on your behalf with third-party providers during case preparation — including official sworn translations, apostilles, and criminal record certificates — are non-refundable once instructed. These involve contracted external service providers whose fees are committed on your behalf.

7. Health Insurance

Health insurance arranged through any provider is governed entirely by that provider’s own cancellation and refund policy. My Spanish Student Visa has no involvement in or responsibility for insurance refunds. Any request for a refund of insurance premiums must be made directly to the relevant insurer in accordance with their terms.

8. Billing Queries

If you have a question about a charge or believe a payment was taken in error, please contact us at hola@myspanishvisa.com with your case reference number. We will acknowledge billing queries within 2 working days.

9. Disputes

If you are dissatisfied with how your case was handled, please contact us in the first instance. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it is subject to the governing law and jurisdiction set out in our Terms and Conditions — namely the courts of England and Wales.
